EVENTS

Each year the Adams Foundation hosts events for the professional development of its Future Business Leader Scholars. Those events include:

• New scholars' orientation and lunch with Foundation president – This event on the first Friday in August is a chance for new scholarship recipients to meet the Foundation's president, staff and other business professionals.
• Adams Future Business Leader Workshop – Held on the first Saturday in August, our workshop program includes valuable tools and topics to assist scholarship recipients in developing professionally. Some of our past workshop topics have included:
  • Business Etiquette Workshop – "Enhancing Your Professional Style"
  • Resume Writing and Interview Techniques
  • Public Speaking – "How to Organize and Deliver a Presentation"
  • Personal Financial Management
  • Interpersonal Relations Workshop – "In Sync With Others"
• Adams Future Business Leader Holiday Social – Held during the December holiday season, our annual social is an excellent opportunity for scholarship recipients to meet, mingle and network with local business professionals and community leaders.
